Trap Shooting for Beginners | Multiple classes at different locations - THIS CLASS IS IN Mt Pleasant at AIM High. Techniques, Tips & Rules: Gain confidence as a new trapshooter as you learn basic concepts, receive tips and understand rules that can enable you to relax and enjoy the sport! **Class is limited to 6 student athletes** This course is 4-hours long and the instructors will teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for trapshooting for beginners. Instructors Kolton Manning and Nicole Popp will instruct new student athletes in the game of trap; shooting fundamentals; shooting techniques, tips and rules. What to expect with Trap Shooting for Beginners  Fundamentals for trap  Basics for learning the game with stance, holds, field considerations  Overview of gun fit, posture, stance  Natural point of aim  Practice techniques Cost: $75 (for in-state Iowa SCTP athletes) (out of registrants pay an additional $150 per athlete at the class) This is a classroom and shooting clinic. Targets are provided by Iowa SCTP (bring a flat of shells, eye and ear protection). Upon class completion, if you complete a course survey you can receive 50% reimbursement of the cost of the class.
